Data on a Boat : take control over your data!

DoaB is a simple tool to help you back-up your online activity: keep a trace of your conversations, archive all the pictures and videos you shared, save your RSS and articles, your documents, your status… Your personal data does not belong to you as soon as they’re stored by third parties. With DoaB, you can easily make a back-up of your online identity and all your favorite files, where you want: on your local hard-drive, on your personal web-server, on a mobile device like a smartphone or a tablet computer… Our simple interface will allow you to archive and manage your data with ease.

We started the discussion about a Drumbeat data portability project at Mozilla Drumbeat Festival, in collaboration with New Media Rights.
