No, not really. Of course we know this site and we appreciate it but we believe that its approach is different from ours. We address the archiving in a more “editorial” and community-based way. We do not aim to archive the Internet in its entirety.
We decided not to automate the selection of websites to archive but rather to allow our visitors to draw our attention to some sites in particular. webarchivists will also promote any action aiming to save digital content, on any level.
